- mute filters work! your followers who have a term muted won't have to see an image you've properly alt-texted.

We spend way too much time worrying about what others think, when in reality it's only as much as we think of them; ie, not very much at all.
Life advice from an old lady with self-esteem issues:
If you can't remember what the people at the shops/office/place you frequent were wearing the last time you were there, it's a pretty good indication that none of them will remember what you are wearing. So wear whatever the hell you want.

Packing for a trip is less fun now. Can't just toss in a few spare clothes and my toiletry bag; I'm grabbing handfuls of supplements, painkillers, muscle rub etc... just so I don't have to scramble for a pharmacy when my body inevitably breaks down midway 🫠
