The credibility of UK politics has long since lain in the gutter I'm afraid. Of course, this doesn't do much to help.

www.theguardian.com/commentisfre... It's odd that in amongst the various valid criticisms in this article, Martin can't find the time to mention the Blair government's branding of 'GREAT' Britain all over the shop during, if I remember correctly, the late 90s and the early 2000s.
