They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

Following this closely. Again, this is just rumor as the DoJ is normally very tight lipped. Let’s see what happens next. Harry Litman used to report legal matters for the LA Times but resigned from that paper after it started stumping for Trump.

This is just sheer brazen criminality by DOJ. Adams gets federal corruption charges dropped not because there isn’t overwhelming evidence, but because he agrees to help Homan round up migrants. And Homan says the charges will be refiled if Adams doesn’t “come through.”
