Guatemala is so rich with colors, people, food and scenery. Our lovely trip was graced with beautiful weather and so much kindness from strangers who became friends.

Traveling to other countries is so enlightening in many ways, especially when needing a hospital. Recently stayed in a fairly remote part of Guatemala when my husband had a health scare. All turned out fine. Transport was challenging, Physicians great! Facilities okay. People were very kind.

One day is not enough. I am going to spend some time looking closely at myself and the unhealthy purchasing habits that have established themselves in my daily life over the past two decades. It will be a challenging journey of self awareness and change, and I will report on my progress.

Winter in the north country means reading by the fire, gathering with friends, meditation, board games, puzzles, good food and cross country skiing. Dreamy and delightful. Feeling so lucky.

Amazing to me what Americans can accomplish when we commit our hearts and minds to it. Visited the Kennedy Space Center and marveled at the scientists and engineers who have committed their careers to design, build and successful launch of the Webb telescope. Let’s keep learning more!

I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever.

Just watched Heather CR and it made my morning. I am working on open mindedness and activism at the same time.

Love this option. The @names are a bit difficult, but I used my real name as my nickname so I could be found. It’s hard to actually allow someone to follow me with an @name that’s not familiar.
