I heard it was going to be a rough winter, so I bought a new snowblower. As a result, we will not have any measurable snow this winter. You're welcome! Or, I'm sorry, but that is how reality works.

Amazing thread. What truly helped make the US great.
Let's talk about these two department store owners: brother and sister Louis Bamberger and Caroline Bamberger Fuld. From Newark, New Jersey.

They are random people, basically. But in the late 1920s, with fascism taking over Europe, they made a choice that profoundly changed the world: 🧵

I watch a lot of tech-related videos on YouTube. If you have a goofy face as the image for a video, I won't watch it. Even people that I know are very good and have great videos I have a visceral reaction to the goofy "astonished" face that I can't get past. I like you, but I just can't.

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.

If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

I just want to live in a world where I don't have to hear their fucking names every day - where I don't have to hear about what stupid or illegal thing they've done today. Where the biggest story of the day is some kid on a mic yelling "I LIKE TURTLES!" Remember that kid? I want that world again.

I'm not sure who the target audience was for the Section 31 movie. Tweens, perhaps. I didn't expect it to be a YA 'comedy' and so much just over the top nonsense. #Section31

Tonight's movie is "Alien: Romulus" - i finally set up bi-amplification on my front tower speakers, and have 300 watts continuous and 1200 watts peak power available for each. Add in the Atmos speakers, center channel, and surround all at 150 / 600 watts, and this is shaking the house. Crisp! 💚💙

We didn't do the weekly Wednesday movie night this week. Between snow and people with colds, we skipped. I see that Disney+ has "Alien: Romulus" - hmm. Not in Atmos, it shows it is 5.1, but at least it is HDR10. On Fandango, it says Atmos but not HDR. There are a lot of inconsistencies.
