At least 12 million people ( 3.7% of US pop) took a stand against the Trump regime and fascism on Saturday.

The next step is a national general strike and boycotts. When 3.5% of the whole population of a nation has begun to participate in resistance, success is inevitable. #3E #NoKings #StopICE

As a chronically anxious perfectionist, I always feel that I come up short, that I could & should do more & be better. I've always envied my husband who just *does not* do this. Last night, (after 15 years of marriage), he explained his secret: "It's "W.A.R"" he said, "Wins Above Replacement." 🧵

This is excellent. It eloquently captures what I'm trying to do, (but haven't articulated as clearly.)
A thought model I am using a lot right now is divestment.

I am thinking a lot about where I have invested time, energy, money, trust, and other finite resources in ways of being that rely on the state and corporate apparatus.

I am working to be intentional about transitioning those investments.

In all seriousness, I will continue to shout from the rooftop that as much as you can afford and manage, it's going to be more important than ever to have (and manage, and rotate) a robust emergency supplies stock.

Federal emergency response is not something anyone should depend on under Trump.

Don’t think NY Mag is using this site yet but this is quite an astute take, that a grifty reality TV president would nominate a bunch of grifty influencer-types is very much like what he learned to do on from nbc
