If the northern lights are able to be seen in Maryland again tonight... viewing conditions should improve as the evening progresses. Clouds are densest north of I-70, on into northeast Maryland early this evening.

Wind-whipped snow showers are making it well into the south with this cold blast. Nashville, Atlanta, northern Alabama have all seen some flakes.

🥶 University of Maryland Mesonet site in Bittinger (Garrett County) has fallen to 32°. Some of Garrett County will remain below freezing through Wednesday morning.
