Whenever the US devolves into times like these, there is a % of white Canadians who feel emboldened by what they’re seeing on the news and are comfortable enough to go around being vicious racists. It was very important that those people saw a blond, blue eyed woman get murdered by the state.

There is so much going on. I also have a feeling Governor Walz brought up activating the National Guard to use them to quell protests (like he did after George Floyd was murdered), not to protect his people from ICE.
