Pals, nearly everytime that I'm at the airport I see my friend's ex husband, I've known her since grade 8 and I even went to their wedding. He works here, they just announced his name and that it's his birthday. I can't believe that somehow I'm still bumping into him and his life!

I avoid walking under trees or power lines where I see guano on the ground. I yell "no pooping" at flocks overhead. Working at sea - let's just say I have taken a few disgusting hits....
Getting out of the car at the gym, it happened, gulls, a wet wack to the side of my head.

My sister & I were just talking about blueberry fungy! It was my favorite growing up & mom would make it for supper (no ice cream on ours 😂) we had never heard anybody else call it a fungy and this article mentions it!! For years I didn't even know that blueberry grunt was the same recipe!

I should be in the classroom (like, literally, 8:35AM class) right now. Then at the Welcome Fair in the Quad. Instead, locked out. I'm mad, hurt, disappointed, betrayed. But, I am always someone who looks on the bright side of everything. So, here is the good: 1/2 #KeepDalStrong

There are a lot of stories out there this week on the discovery of the cause of the sea star die off. This is, in my opinion, the best. Fantastic reporting, great visuals, behind the scenes science writing at its best. Give it a read.
Sea stars—26 species—have been dying by the billions from Mexico to Alaska, their arms tearing off, their bodies dissolving, w/huge consequences for the sea.

Experts finally figured out why— and gave @biographic.bsky.social exclusive access.
