The Archipeligo experience is unlike any other tasting menu: they pay homage to their ancestors, introduce us to Filipino dishes and show us how immigrants to the PNW use local ingredients to mimic the flavors of what they had used in their cooking back home.

Trying to live up to my moniker ;) Lunch today includes carrot ginger garlic soup flavored with Tom Yum paste & garnished with black popcorn & pickled red onions. Because, why not?

Thanksgiving dinner was simple & delicious. Need to remember that dinner roll recipe. It was a keeper. And mom is on permanent gravy duty!
