I had fun watching this cub team early, but honestly the last game was like way too much of the second half, no bats.
Just not good enough.
Nice year overall, hope they add a bat and go further next year.

I used to think the cubs owned all the most ridiculous ways to lose games, then I saw Buckner, and said well, he was a Cub after all.
But the Cubs have never lost a series on a pitcher fielding error in extra innings and my heart just goes out to the Phillies fans, that is awful stuff.

I wanted tor ant about the cubs offense yesterday, but honestly the pitchers the Padres put out there were stars.
Elite stuff. Not bargain bin shopping relievers, stars.
