Republicans in Congress are failing to their job because they are afraid of losing their office by being primaries by Trump and his minions. What will they do when they lose their job because he announces the part of his plan that eliminates Congress and the need for elections? Absolute cowards.

As we watch the clown show in the White House we are left with the understanding that our congressmen and women are either immoral or gutless cowards, or both. I really hope there are elections in 2026 so this can be addressed by the voters.

What is Fox thinking with that graphic?

Apparently both Fox and Tom Cruise are not aware of the Green Bay Packers

Constituents are being screwed over by this administration because Republican Senators and Representatives are representing the interests of Trump rather than of those they were elected to serve in their home state. Elections matter, and the hope is this one will be the one that teaches the lesson.

It took an Uber Eats commercial for the Bears to make the playoffs.

If you have subscribed to cnn.com to get behind their paywall, you are supporting an organization that sanewashes Trump’s lies and refused to tell voters the truth. Time to strangle them financially

So we know that sexual assault is not the tipping g point for Republicans. What will it be? Once it shows up, impeachment may be the answer. Until then, elected Republicans do not represent their constituents… instead they follow one man to their doom.
Sen. Joni Ernst could've torpedoed Hegseth's nomination for defense secretary. She's a military veteran and survivor of sexual assault. Hegseth was credibly accused of abuse of women, including rape.
Joni Ernst's "yes" vote will make women less likely to come forward. She voted for sexual assault.

The curious question is what will the tipping point be that causes the zombie Republican senators and representatives to stand up and be counted. It seems like it has to happen, so what will it be?

Based on his vote today, I am left to conclude that Jerry Moran is a supporter of sexual harassment. Same for Roger Marshall. Either that or they are so cowed by Trump that they refuse to do the right thing. Or both. No surprise and infinite shame.

The answer to one comment that connects to a second. The DOJ says interfering with ICE should be investigated, so that is what would stop this. However, the Supreme Court only gives immunity to the President, so DOJ needs to remember they are at risk no matter who tells them to do something

As cities see ICE raids, what stops local police from blocking them? I get the Federal issue and override, but if there is one thing we have learned in the last few months it is that not all laws, or even many, are likely to be properly enforced by the courts.

I cannot help but think there are many people who think that Trump’s presidential immunity will somehow extend to them. According to the Supremes, Trump can do whatever he wants. Everyone else in his orbit is supposedly subject to the rule of law and so they could go down for their master’s crimes
