Wonders how the various Hollywood unions allowed the studios to permit streaming services to make watching a film’s credits so hard to do. Shouldn’t the default be “watching the names of everybody who contributed to the making of this movie” (and, if you don’t wanna watch it, click on…)?

It's not a foolproof plan but every political debate from now on should be a Normal Guy competition. Ask them to describe grocery shopping in detail. Talk about what it's like to have a friend

Watching movies on the major streaming services with ads now is no better than watching movies with ads when there were only the three broadcast networks. In fact it’s actually worse now because, back in the day, at least there were ads for things other than simply more shows on the network.

that the Whos celebrate Christmas suggests some knowledge of Christ, but whether this is our anthropic Christ or a distinctive Who-Christ remains obscure; some have argued Christianity was introduced to them during their refuge with Horton, which of course turns us to the matter of Elephant Religion

On Tuesday’s #frankdeanandfriends on WFCS 107.7 The Edge, we’ll celebrate that, during the last two weeks of July 1956, Frank Sinatra’s SONGS FOR SWINGIN’ LOVERS was #1 on the UK’s inaugural top albums charts. And we’ll wish Sigmund Romberg a happy birthday! Tune in at 8 am!

Remember everyone! In 61 BCE Pompey “the great” celebrated his military victory parade on his birthday— parade specially organised to coincide. I wonder if the president knows.

Pretty sure 80% of the folks over 50 at the mall are walking not shopping, and 70% of the under-30s at the grocery store are shopping for someone else not themselves. (Nota bene: I was one of those walkers.) 😉
