Abstract submissions are now being accepted for AIDS 2026, the 26th International AIDS Conference. It'll be taking place both virtually and in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, July 26-31 2026.

December 1st is also the beginning of Indigenous AIDS Awareness Week. 

This week serves as an opportunity to elevate the voices of Indigenous people living with, or affected by, HIV and AIDS. It calls for the establishment and expansion of HIV education and support within Indigenous communities.

Canada is part of a global effort to eliminate #HepatitisC by 2030. Unfortunately, the #COVID19 pandemic seriously set back those efforts.

Dr. Naveed Janjua and team compared hep C testing rates post 2020 with predictions based on pre-pandemic trends, and found they were much lower than expected.
