Fresh from the podium at EACS 2025 in Paris: Doxycycline PEP was associated with a sustained positive impact on syphilis and chlamydia incidence but also increases in gonorrhea AMR in the open label extension of the DoxyVAC trial among GBM in France.

Dr Cissy Kityo highlighted the role of long-acting drugs for treating HIV in LMICs in this morning’s excellent plenary at #IAS2025, buoyed by yesterday’s announcement of the Viiv/MPP updated voluntary licensing agreement for CAB and updated WHO guidelines supporting CAB/RPV as a treatment option.

7 cis-gender MSM on PrEP undergoing bariatric surgery (x4 RYGB, x2 SG) had measurement of tenofovir diphosphate (TFV-DP) in dried blood spot

All bar one had therapeutic TFV-DP concentrations
