I legitimately don't understand how you can frame what he did -- putting individuals' names and faces on an anti-free speech "watchlist," sending busloads of MAGA folks to the Capitol on 1/6, joking about bailing out Paul Pelosi's attacker, sneering at immigrants and black women -- as "civility"

Republicans keep telling us not to "politicize" these shootings, but that's only because they understand that these shootings were entirely motivated by the political arguments they themselves have been making and entirely facilitated by the political campaign against gun control that they have led.

I think it’s high time we take back the national narrative. For centuries Americans of all races, genders, religions, and abilities have worked to create a more perfect union, and we should shout from the rooftops that WE are America. Not these idiot white supremacist authoritarians.

There needs to be a focus on putting this all on Miller and getting him out. I feel like he would be the "fall guy" which would lead to backtracking on this mess

The “big beautiful bill” has $160bn in new anti-immigrant measures including $8bn for ICE personnel, $15bn for deportations and $45bn to build detention facilities. Current total ICE budget is ~$8bn. They want to scale up this terror to an unimaginable level.
