In @statnews.com today, Stefan Peterson and I write about using a human rights-based approach to deal with vaccine denialism and the return of measles, whooping cough and diphtheria

🚨 This is unscientific & dangerous.

The MMR vaccine is safe, effective & used worldwide. Splitting it into 3 shots isn’t evidence-based—it’s politics that will sow confusion, lower coverage & fuel outbreaks.

Don’t be surprised when countries start requiring proof of MMR from U.S. travelers. 💉

State of the world of science publishing:

- Booming paper mills cranking out fake papers

- AI generated images & papers flooding the system

- Unaffordable article process charges

- Difficulties in finding peer reviewers
