People keep telling me they're "not good enough to submit" - I say, we don't gatekeep skill levels.
Sure, I use the books to scout for artists to hire/forward projects to, but our goal is to *encourage people to celebrate nature*.
This is why I insist on having kid & amateur artists each season.

was considering opening for parts to solve this problem, because if i do have a color in stock for a partial commish, i still end up buying more "just in case", if i run out and/or the fur is out of stock later when i need more etc. i really wanted to try the new stoff hummel line too but, no space

current example - a dragon where my idea for the design is short smooth fur all over the body, then a fluffy mane down the back. but the furs i have are only long shag, so i have to work with those, since i wont ever use them for comms probably

when making premades now, i keep the whole design in mind and the possibility to upgrade to fullsuits, but theres still limitations such as fur sources (ex. a partial sent to USA with furs from Poland, making it harder to get them) but also me wanting to use up stock furs, when id prefer new ones

The final premade for 2024 was this skunk from march. I wanted to try making a big skunk tail that wouldn't need a back harness. Still need to tweak some parts if I were to make more, but I loved the outcome.

Next up was this cute toon kobold. I later got to come back to make a set of hand and feetpaws to go with the head and tail. Love the yellow eyes ^^

Some photos of the initial look! The edits later were sewn-on hair and velcro removable eyelids and eyelashes. The vision was mainly through the middle eyes, but all 4 eyes were useable.

Continuing to 2025, I started off with a bigger project, making this two headed wolf. These photos are from later in the year as I added things for the buyer, but the main suit was done early february.

Last one for 2024 was this purple jester fox. I wanted to make another critter with a different ear angle than pointing upward, adding a fun hat too!

The following one was this cloudy sky inspired binturong! Another underrated species that I wanted to make for a long time. Loved making the nose shape and adding those cute ear tufts!

Next up in this line of premades was this hippogriff (initially gryphon, but redesigned after a preclaim) with a really striking wing look designed by the buyer.

That summer I was also making this gargoyle! Initially inspired by a scale patterned fur that I ended up completely swapping for fleece, which I ended up loving so much more. I used grey eye blanks for a stone-like look
My fave detail is also the water spout mouth/water tongue ^^
