Being intact has benefits for your dog, but you need to do the work to prevent them from reproducing. Accidents can be spay-aborted.

hot take but grimdark is one of the hardest subgenres to get right because so many writers assume that misery and cruelty should be the very heart of their story when it's actually the opposite. misery and cruelty need to SURROUND the story while the heart should be about the need to live and love
