Today I learned that from 1945-1972, some plumbing pipes were made from a tarpaper type material called orangeburg. At best, it’s supposed to last ~50 years. Sometime next week, I’ll get to learn how much it costs to replace it.

This looks like a cool option for buying books online AND supporting independent booksellers. They even sell ebooks! The only downside is that you can’t read those ebooks on your Kindle - you have to read them on their app or in your browser. Still… options.
