This is Monday morning. I need to cut 1,000 from an early draft then write in a couple of new chapters that will total around 2,000 words. The precision with word count isn’t just about the total book length, it’s carefully calculated pacing and structure. What are you writing?

It’s paperback publication day for #TheProfiler (formerly ProfileK). It had a cuddly squirrel, cake, a lovely lady called Doris who is everyone’s favourite character, a warm sisterly bond, and cute frog a naughty rodent. I have no idea why people think it’s so scary. Enjoy!
