@rephaleystevens.bsky.social I am a constituent from Clawson and asking you to not approve the appropriations bill for Homeland Security and ICE unless there are rules which don't allow agents to target people based on their race, skin color, etc. ICE must be tightly controlled or disbanded.

So, Hegseth has put regular active duty troops on notice for deployment to Minnesota. Just a suggestion: when the deployment is announced, we should all book hotel rooms in the Minneapolis and St Paul area (Start with those owned by Hilton as they work with ICE). Cancel 24 hrs ahead. Ties up rooms

@peters.senate.gov I am a constituent from Clawson, Michigan. I am urging you to filibuster the upcoming appropriations bill to fund ICE unless there are significant changes to how ICE is allowed to operate. They can't be allowed to continue to terrorize immigrants and citizens.

I'd like to know why there are so few REPORTS of ICE activity in Michigan when the average number of arrests by them per day has gone up to 11.8 (up from 3 a yr. ago). Today's reports in and around Detroit. One of them is o ly 4 miles from me.

It looks like ICE is deliberately trying to provoke us to violence. This impulse must be resisted.

A Black man was killed by ICE (off duty) in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. And like Renée Good, he was an American citizen. But most people have not heard about Keith Porter.
