Destiny fans are unusually united as #Bungie CEO #PeteParsons steps down. After years of layoffs, delays, and missteps under his leadership—from failed projects to #Destiny2 ’s lowest player counts—his exit marks a moment of shared relief for a community long frustrated with Bungie’s direction.
'I hope all your cars break down': Destiny players bid good riddance to departing Bungie CEO Pete Parsons in a rare moment of unity

Mass Effect’s best moments were never about galaxy-spanning maps—they were the quiet talks in the Normandy’s hallways. Maybe ME5 shouldn’t chase AAA bloat. A focused, 20-hour “AA” story might just save BioWare—and remind us why we fell in love with this universe. #MassEffect
Mass Effect 5’s best chance for success might be by going AA
Mass Effect shines in its smaller moments, and leaning closer to being a tight AA game than a AAA blockbuster might be ME5's best chance at success.

#BioWare says the next #MassEffect is still deep in development—“heads-down and focused exclusively” on the franchise. The team’s building new stories, worlds, and yes, romances. Meanwhile, Amazon’s TV series moves ahead, set after Shepard’s saga. The Mass Effect universe lives on.

New #MassEffect 5 teaser drops—and it’s a big one. A Krogan civil war is brewing. The artwork shows an aged warrior leading an army. Set centuries after Shepard, it hints at the fallout of ME3’s choices. The galaxy may have healed, but the Krogan haven’t. via @ign.com

Back in March, I ranted about the Academy’s habit of tossing sci-fi a shiny medal for “Best Tech Wizardry,” patting it on the head, and moving on. Like the genre’s good for gadgets and visuals, but not for storytelling, emotion, or depth. The two Oscars Dune Part Two once again confirmed this bias.

BioWare confirmed on #N7Day that the next Mass Effect is in development — and Amazon’s TV adaptation will tell a new story set after the trilogy, not Shepard’s. Smart move: keeps player choices intact while expanding the universe. Excited, but w/ cautious optimism. #MassEffect #AmazonPrime #SciFi
Oh good, Amazon's Mass Effect TV series will take place after the events of the original trilogy
The Mass Effect developer also dotted a blog post with clues about the next game that fans are trying to piece together.

I first saw David Lynch’s #Dune in the late ’80s, long before I truly understood what spice, prophecy, or politics meant. It was strange and mesmerizing, more bizarre dream than story. Later, in college, I devoured #Herbert’s novels, and that’s when his universe truly came alive... via CrazyKinux.ca
