Silly to overestimate how quickly the NHS gets things done!
I *hoping* I get chopped up in summer.
However, now I need gallbladder surgery too … and I’m getting tested for arthritis (I <3 collecting debuffs).
In the meantime I’m just living slow, taking lotsa pain drugs, and writing when I can!

For days when I feel v sad/sore/sick but should probably still do work, I’ve developed a system I call BalPom.
It’s an adaptation of the Pomodoro method that rewards me one run of Balatro per X words written.
I may be the only person who’s ever had Balatro increase their productivity.
