This is how old I now look: just walked into an empty coffee shop. The 20-something guy working was listening to banging tunes. When I sat down with my coffee, he changed the music to Bill Withers Lean on Me. He must have thought the fast music and coffee combined could kill me.

We're a mass collection of liabilities, fragilities & ego hoping to not be found out. Take the question, "what do you do for a living?", what people really mean is, "how much ££ do you make?". Go one further and that boils down to, "am I better than you?". The 1st question we ask. Ridiculous. Twats.

Why does the gov. have the worst speech writers in history? Don't speak of Manchester and Leeds as places of great potential. It reduces them, sounds patronising. They're established cities. Don't announce to the world the UK has potential. 2/10. Needs a rewrite. Think bigger. #rachelreeves #labour

The awareness of aging is a strange process. #RockyV is on. Hit info. See it's from 1990. Think, I was 10, back then. Calculate that was 30ish years ago. Remember my dad would have watched/enjoyed this. Think I'm the dad now. Wonder what film my son will be watching in 30 years time, thinking of me.
