Exactly. These people believe they will be "raptured" any day now, so damn the world anyway. Despite living against all biblical precepts, they also believe they won't be left behind. Sickening but true.
Christofascists expect the end times imminently, so death is to be welcomed. The rest of us are collateral damage.

I worked in a TS position for the IC for ~8 years. It was common knowledge there that everyone who worked in counterpart positions within DHS were boneheads who couldn’t be trusted with sensitive info.

Abolishing DHS would be a great start.

If you are paying taxes, this deserves your attention. It will cost trillions to implement and is not necessary if we also have nuclear weapons. The whole purpose of maintaining an arsenal of nuclear weapons deters any ballistic missile, or hypersonic missile attack.
Trump wants denuclearization and a 'Golden Dome.' He can't have both
Trump's Golden Dome is likely to provide kindling for an arms race that will inevitably clash with his stated desire for denuclearization. He will need to choose.

So much misinformation so here are some facts. Spoiler alert...#tariffs are not good tools to spur economic growth!

If this were the worst thing that happens in the next 3 years, we should take that as a win. Won't show up until the end of the term anyway but what should be tracked is how much money the U.S. Air Force spends in your money making the plane into a true 'air force 1' with all the required add-ons!
Of course, Trump is taking a $400 million 747 “gift” from Qatar. Of course, his lawyers claim it’s legal. Of course, as grossly corrupt as it is, it’s barely worth our outrage among all the other unconstitutional outrages from this criminal regime.

This seems like such a lazy thing to say! Akin to Ms. America or Ms. Universe saying they want "World Peace". You have your whole life to consider something profound and this is it? There is literally a 'never again war'! I'm sure the new Pontiff had more to say but...
Pope Leo XIV used his first Sunday address to the faithful to call for peace. “Never again war,” he said to a roar from the crowd in St. Peter’s Square.

Comics veterans are being silenced by toxic fans, and we’re all losing out

Genuinely the stupidest motherfucker in the history of stupid motherfuckers. Aside from the question of how these could be administered and what counts as "produced elsewhere," the inevitable retaliatory tariffs would absolutely kill foreign box office for US studios.
