Happy Birthday to my grandma, who would’ve been 79 today 🤍 She inspires me in countless ways but her own fiber art is why I do what I do. Hope I’m making her proud.

Before and after stream today.

I strayed from my typical fidget spinning 😆 and carved out this cool design to print with! Made tags for the skeins that have been named by chat in the past.

Still feeling rather inspired after my trip to the museum over the weekend. Grateful to have seen a lot of interesting art, armor, and tapestries up close… ended up being there for nearly four hours 😳

Met a lot of floofy friends at New Hampshire Sheep and Wool yesterday 😍🥰

This week has been filled to the brim with prep! I streamed some of it, such as setting up the table display in my garage on Tuesday and breaking out my garb yesterday.

Having friends to chat with while setting up the display helped ease my nerves a bit! Looking forward to ren faire this weekend.

My husband has been making drop spindles 🤩 So far there’s two cherry, three oak, with the remaining being maple or RI swamp maple.

I’ve been testing them out and they’ve been a joy to spin with. We’re very excited to debut them at the ren faire this weekend along with my fiber art! #dropspindle

These are from the same skein where I once experimented with blending more muted colors before spinning them into a two ply. I really enjoyed how differently the colors worked up as I stitched along.

I was reminded today of the one time l dyed... in 2022, a friend and I foraged reed flowers from the side of the road. Then, we went back to their house and used those flowers to dye a bunch of fiber and yarn. The deep reddish purple turned everything into a sage green.
