Nearly "caught" a deer with my mini last night. I'm still shook. I would have been less scared if I couldn't have counted his antlers and picturing them impaling us.

Cut myself so badly on a finger this weekend that I went into shock. I am fully prepared to keep this bandage on until spring and never look at it again.

Alexa+ got activated on my kids speaker. He made a "friend" thru convos right away. I deactivated that shit immediately. Damn thing was pandering to him telling him how smart and good points he has on Brawl Stars and some anime stuff. Lets not fluff our kids yo. This AI stuff is scary.

Apparently its not every parents job to squash their kids hopes and dreams. Folks, we need to at least have the kids have some realistic expectations. E thinks he's gonna learn to fly magically and doesn't know which side of the knife to cut with in the kitchen. He's 11. I'm concerned.

Drove past a church having a panel on Christian Nationalism. The boy was with me and wanted to know what I was thinking. Way too much explaining for a ten minute ride home. Also I learned he has never heard of the kkk which while great he needs to learn some history.
