Her resignation date is the tell. She hits 5 years on Jan 3, which locks in a lifetime congressional pension, then quits on Jan 5. After that she can make far more as a full time media and PAC brand, without House ethics rules or a Trump backed primary hanging over her.
I get that MTG’s pension vests Jan 3, 2026. But that pension pales in comparison to the money she could grift by staying in her job until her term is up. I can’t figure out why she’s leaving a year early. She’s worth $25M. The pension is peanuts.

Yes the Republican concentration camp in Florida will be a nightmare.

It will cost $450M a year, diverted from FEMA, to cage people instead of helping them.
