Does every team struggle with throw-ins as much as we do? People not wanting the ball?
Maybe it’s nothing, but I have noticed that prem opposition seem to encourage us, in their pressing, to play out through VDV. Didn’t seem to happen as much yesterday, with Romero and Danso both using the ball very well. Vicario, and VdV occasionally, are a bit of issue in terms of how we build.

I wouldn’t start Eze ahead of either of these two. Hurts now because of the immediate injury issues, but don’t think dropping the bag on Eze was the right move (only one year younger than Madders, and a Gooner). Spend big money on a talent who WANTS Spurs, and who has best years ahead of him.
