my first PC was windows vista and i loved it but it had major issues (including USB ports except for 1 not being recognized and disk drive) & when i was about 9 years old, i used daemon tools to make a virtual disk of ubuntu, installed it and everything was fixed

kind of ridiculous every single game i’ve tested so far on linux runs better than windows, and most of these games were never developed natively for linux
