I rememebr at Uni we were once given an assignment as a team to unpack the lecturers psuedo code and write the code in C#. Looking back on it, I think the pseudo code we were given was just crap

It is pretty obvious we are not getting an FF9 remake today so I would jsut go grab the moguri mod and turn on toon outline, 60 fps and the AI backgrounds and grab the anniversary portraits mod

With everything going on in the industry, something crossed my mind. Before a game gets greenlit, does anyone ask who is this for?
Kids are on Fortnite, Roblox, FIFA. The ones that grew up with games have jobs, families, and limited time. Why aren’t more games scoped for specific audiences?

If GTA hikes the prices of AAA games again, it will be another nail in the coffin for the rest of the AAA space. Who is the demographic for GTA (obviously a lot) but again it's not the kids on Roblox/Fortnite. Teens have less disposable income because adults do and adults have no free time

My new nemesis today is Microsoft Teams Android app. Yesterday morning it just stopped allowing me to send any messages and the connection is flakey. All other apps work perfectly fine. The solution is apparently to GO INTO MY ROUTER AND DISABLE IPV6 (whihc i can't/won't do).

Nintendo are smart with the Switch sale. They never discount their own games that heavily and let the thousands of other games do deep discounts and they still get the 30% whilst still keeping their own IP valuable

Next year release calendar is pretty weak outside of remakes, GTA and Death Stranding 2. Obviously I know there is more unannounced stuff but the calendar as is is proper meh

I grabbed Worms Armageddon in the Switch sale, and the 90s design of you have to do training before any missions and you have to finish 9 bastard hard missions in succession is the first time I nearly yeeted my favourite console across the room

I urge everyone to respond to this in some way email your MP. The A.I. sector will fail regardless if this goes through as it will end up feeding off itself. This is actually killing several creative industries rather than just the A.I. sector that by definition is failing in the free market anyway

I urge everyone to respond to this in some way email your MP. The A.I. sector will fail regardless if this goes through as it will end up feeding off itself. This is actually killing several creative industries rather than just the A.I. sector that by definition is failing in the free market anyway
Capcom certainly turned up to the game awards... But where is Pragmata. I feel this is a game I am going to have to make myself now

it's almost 2025, and I still hope we can ditch the whole AAA vs. Indie thing. Whether a game is made by one person or a 1000-person team doesn't matter. What actually matters is if it's good. These labels just create unnecessary preconceptions.

Wanted a break from Metaphor and fired up Star Wars Outlaws... I was originally really enjoying it but there are still so many bugs that are soft progression blockers. I will wait next year to play
