the moment you actually look into welfare and social programs you realize how fucking bare bones they are, while helpful, are also just designed to be stressful and frustrating and keep people in poverty.
I don't think enough people realize that for many folks on disability they cannot risk having over a VERY low cap of money/property or they will lose their benefits nearly immediately
