There is virtually no fed criminal law for wealthy people in America right now. Doesn’t exist. Trump’s DOJ either drops their charges or he pardons them. Anyone can buy their way out of prison for the right price on any charge, with crime victims left shattered with no justice.

Among the many ills our nation faces, the Republican gerrymander crusade feels like one of the worst. What country can legitimately call itself a democracy when states actively and openly seek to disenfranchise half the population and the federal government allows (and worse, encourages) it?
