This is the cover art I did for NOVA, a manga zine from the 1980's. I was a huge fan of Patalliro, and had the albums, laser disc film, and most of the manga. I don't keep up with it anymore, but I really loved the unique art style.

Not even really a hot take but more of a fact, so much of the anime/manga industry is fueled and powered by women. Either women creating stories or women buying products for their favorite shows more often than guys, even women just making fan art for the medium

For graphic novels, especially adult genre fiction, it's incredibly helpful to review it online, talk about it, recommend it to a friend—adult fiction in the graphic novel space is difficult to place, and nothing convinces readers that they'll like a book more than the personal testimonial.
If you like an author's work, the best thing you can do is buy it. The second best thing you can do is ask your local library to buy it. Or, do both!
