Soooo, we brought these guys home yesterday and everything is going super well so far! JJ is so sweet and already purring for me. Ru is still hiding from us, but we can see him exploring on the privacy-violating kitty cam we set up. Resident Cat Jimmy is...unbothered?

Fat Cat seems to be a little lonely without Werny and tbh we are also not used to a 1 animal household. Sooooo we are meeting some potential new companions this weekend. I’m very anxious about it but also excited

Herc’s Mean Cat Brother, Werny, died at home this morning. He was probably ~16 years old. It had been clear for a while that his time was winding down. He was my friend for nearly 13 years…I barely know how to be an adult without him. We already miss him so much. He had a great life 💜

I'm pretty convinced no one but me watched The Brini Maxwell Show (circa 2005) but I think about her all the time and it is a CRIME that there were only a couple seasons.
