The daily value of NATO is not that it fights wars. The greater value is that it prevents them by binding together the strategic nervous systems of democracies. When that system weakens, the United States does not become freer. lnk.thebulwark.com/4pAE7qK
This Isn’t the End of NATO
There’s a reason every previous prediction of the alliance’s dissolution was wrong.

The Venezuela operation is following the standard Administration playbook

Trump pardoning Former Honduran President Hernández for trafficking hundreds of tons of cocaine into the US seems confusing given his reasoning for blowing Venezuelan “drug boats” out of the water.
He isn’t interested in stopping the trafficking. He wants a piece of the action. The Art of the Deal.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is not only an attack on sovereignty, it is a direct challenge to the European security built to prevent large-scale war on the continent. Allowing territorial conquest by force will not end conflict; it will reward it. Borders cannot be redrawn with missiles.

Three things about the Witkoff tapes:

1) It appears Western intelligence services have decided to let Witkoff (and Trump) know they have recordings of their traitorous conversations w/Russia.

2) This Ukraine "deal" was all Witkoff's idea.

3) Congressional leaders should demand he be fired.
