A few hours into my biggest challenge yet.

Needle felted wool painting of a golden eagle, this will be around 3ft x 2ft when finished. Working with just a single needle!

This will be a big statement piece for Global Birdfair in July.

Had a lovely walk around #RyeMeads @rspbengland.bsky.social yesterday it’s been a good year for fungi especially Jelly ear but also found others new to me & as yet unidentified thinking the wet & mild conditions have helped
