I played a round of the new season of Fortnite and they introduced a mechanic where you have to kill alien bugs and after a few I thought "hahaha this is just like Starship Troopers".
Then I remembered the point of Starship Troopers and I felt weirdly conflicted for the rest of the game

I re-opened a Word document featuring an idea for a book I had ages ago (the plot involves genies and portions of it have been swirling around in my head for a decade), and a little comment I made to myself genuinely had me laughing out loud, way to go past me.

I don't think I've had an NYC Gyro in my multiple years of living here? No idea why but a Gyro is synonymous with the Wildwood boardwalk for me
