As long as rich ppl can convince poor people that other poor people (or [insert marginalized group]) are the reason for their poorness, the system is gonna chug along just fine sadly.
It is ridiculous that we have people who are working who have to rely on Medicaid. That isn’t the fault of the individual. It’s the fault of the government for allowing employers to not take care of their employees.

HIPAA is so misunderstood and misused. It grinds my gears actually. I saw someone cite HIPAA on here as a reason they wouldn’t share their sexual history and STI status with potential partners. Just ignorant and all kinds of wrong.
