No RenCen food court and no People Mover makes for a weird feeling Thursday afternoon. Actually *gasp* walked a few blocks to find lunch downtown

Random rider experience question: How often should a transit vehicle play non-wayfinding announcements (yield priority seats, keep clear of the rear door, etc.)?

There's a line between making service delivery feel professional and creating a nuisance. Where is it for you?

Fun event tomorrow night for fellow Interurban history enthusiasts: Ken Schramm, the son of a Detroit United Railway operator, will be hosting a talk at the New Baltimore Civic Club.

It's transit accessible. Take a select 560 trip to 23 & Cypress, then Flex the rest of the way.

Tomorrow is the 50th anniversary of the loss of the Great Lakes freighter, the Edmund Fitzgerald and all its 29 souls, The ship that followed it across Lake Superior, the Arthur M Anderson, was still sailing last year, seen here in Buffalo last November. She spent 2025 in layup.

Disappointed to hear the millage that would've sustained the CATA Route 3 extension into Delta Township didn't get the votes tonight.

I was on the very first bus out to Horrocks two years ago. If service does end up getting cut back to Lansing Mall, I'll be on the last.

Charlotte's transport referendum has won.

1% sales tax increase is expected to generate $19 billion/20 years, funding:
—Transit (40%): Red Line commuter rail, Silver Line light rail, Gold Line extension, Blue Line extension
—Road projects (40%)
—Bus improvements, creating frequent bus network (20%)
Just with early vote reporting, Charlotte's transportation sales tax referendum is currently up 55–45%. But I caution this is just the early vote!

Making an effort to be an informed voter in a city you just moved to can be pretty fun. Everyone will be divided over some central, hyperlocal issue and you're just like, "uh... I didn't know we HAD an old community center across town until you brought it up but that's cool"
