Need a torx screwdriver? Hi, come borrow ours six doors down. Super specific hardware adapter? Person with the same hobby has a bunch. Wanna swap some peach jars for our extra coffee? Sweet, check your porch

Frequency improvements on FAST Woodward, FAST Gratiot, and Route 710 (Nine Mile) will take effect in January along with other schedule changes to improve service reliability.

Starting tomorrow and until the new facility is completed, the SMART transfer point on Water east of Saginaw will simply be called "Downtown Pontiac." Service won't be affected.

SMART realtime tracking in Google Maps will be temporarily unavailable until Monday morning due to a software limitation with how updates are processed. Use Transit, Apple Maps, Citymapper, or bustime.smartbus.org in the meantime – these apps are functioning normally.

Google Maps: "Oh, the GTFS changed a lot. Let's just delete it and show nothing until the date the new one takes effect"

If anyone still has an $82 Park & Ride pass, you can trade it in starting Mon 12/29 at the Royal Oak TC or the Buhl ticket window downtown. You'll get the difference back in DART passes.
If your pass is blue or you're using a mobile ticket, no action is needed – it'll just work.

An update on Route 100: Following community input, left turn exemptions are being pursued at Woodward / Holbrook and Caniff / Jos Campau. This will allow for safe operation of the routing within Hamtramck proposed in earlier SMARTer Mobility sessions. Launch slated for mid-2026.
