Some states say they don't like federal money and brag about how little they take. Random comparison. Blue California received 14.5% of revenue in 21 from the feds. Red Arkansas received 22.7%. Per capita? California $4,161 fed money per person. Arkansas $4,188. How you present numbers matters.
