New York, a Christian state, is following Jesus’s admonition and feeding its poor. Arkansas, how about you? Gov. Sanders, you’ve got lots of money.
A true sentence that's still hard to believe: "After New York and other states said they would fund the SNAP program, the Trump administration ordered the states not to." But NY went to court and won, and resumed payments starting yesterday. www.wwnytv.com/2025/11/10/s...
SNAP payments arriving now through Thursday, local officials say
SNAP payments have started to arrive on people’s cards after New York state stepped in to provide the funding, given the federal government shutdown.

Today, we honor the men and women who put on the uniform and chose service over self.

Veterans don't ask for praise. They ask us to keep our promises. To stand by them when the battles are over. To care for their families. To fight for the values they risked everything to defend.

Please, write it. Although it needs to be about how it’s supposed to work, because right now it’s broken. I have the same temptation but my book would be about what good government is.

Dems have spent the past two months saying they're fighting to address the crisis of spiking healthcare costs and now they're caving for a deal that does nothing to address healthcare costs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Democratic leadership can be divided into fighters and cowards. We don’t elect them to back down.
This is not a deal — it's an empty promise.

Trump and his Republican Congress are making healthcare more expensive for the middle class and ending it for working families.

Time for Democrats to stand tall for affordable healthcare. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

The epitome of bad public policy. It’s clear Arkansas wants to make its public schools even worse and if you can’t afford a private school? Too bad for you.
It’s like apples 🍎 to 🐍 . Public & rural schools have less resources ,under funded & understaffed where are the LEARNS SCORES! What the hell are you comparing? LEARNS paid by our tax $ isn’t graded! Comparing starved public schools against each other for what an excuse to close rural public schools?

This is incredible and not in a good way. Every single thing this administration does is awful.
Trump and his cronies are now pushing 50-year mortgages.

Buckle up. This is going to make the 2008 mortgage crisis look like the good old days.

Biden’s two biggest mistakes: trying to run again in 24 and supporting genocide.
One thing we do not discuss enough is how, in the before times (really before October 2023), most Americans held the position that we are supposed to just blindly support Israel no matter what they do. We have entered uncharted territory here. www.thenorthstar.com/p/breaking-9...

The ultimate gated community.
“More and more cabinet members — Rubio, Miller, Noem — live on military bases now, & it's another parallel to Iraq, where the administration lived in the Green Zone. There’s something deeply unhealthy about a society where leaders are literally shut off from the communities that they govern.”

It is one of the most serious questions of our time. So little critical thinking on the part of millions of Americans that they took The Apprentice as truth and only heard what they wanted to hear.
Seriously? He has no idea how insurance works or how to govern. I’ll never get over 77 million people thinking a man this incompetent belongs anywhere near the Oval Office.

Awful news here in Arkansas.
Kara Dominguez has been left alone to care for 3 daughters, including an autistic 3 year old, after ICE arrested her husband Tuesday. He had no criminal record, she says. She says he was targeted because of her activist work, which he was not a part of.

Dear Walmart,

Consideeing you have more employees on SNAP than any other company — instead of simply having a ‘cheaper’ Thanksgiving bundle, how about giving your underpaid employees who must rely on SNAP for survival, one for free? It’s the least you can do. And I stress, the LEAST…

What a time indeed.
It’s so wild the “live free or die” President is rationing air travel because his cohorts don’t want the people who vote for them to have less expensive insurance. Like that’s where we are as a country. And you really just have to laugh, ya know? What a time to be alive.

America, when will you learn this lesson? It has been more than a century.
“I am opposing a social order in which it is possible for one man who does absolutely nothing that is useful to amass a fortune of hundreds of millions of dollars, while millions of men and women who work all the days of their lives secure barely enough for a wretched existence.”

Let’s not forget that THIS is how Republicans govern. A party that believes government is bad will govern badly. Masked thugs dragging citizens off the streets and terrorizing the public. Stopping food stamps. Stopping health care access. Now stopping planes. Register to vote. Get ready for 2026.
