Do you think that 'hard work' is enough to beat the rich at their own game? You can try if you like, but we say that organising in your community and building power from the bottom up is *always* a better choice.
We need to tax wealth not work.

Why? Because usually no matter how hard you work, the compound interest on huge wealth grows much faster than your wages + the rich use this passive income to buy all the assets.

Someone made a game to show this:

Organiser, inspiration and revolutionary- many happy returns to Red Emma!

“Ask for work. If they will not give you work, ask for bread. If they will give you neither work nor bread, take the bread! It is your right!”
Happy birthday, Emma Goldman! On this day in 1869, the Lithuanian Jewish anarchist-feminist writer, philosopher and agitator was born. 🏴

There are viable alternatives to capitalism. Cooperative and participatory economics emphasize democratic decision-making, self-management, and social ownership for the common good. The profit motive is left behind in favor of a society where wealth is shared and no one is left behind.

🌳 Have you read 'Share The Land' yet?

Our report models several scenarios for an agroecological #LandSharing approach to land use.

Our conclusion? W/ the right trade policy, dietary changes & approach to land use, we can source the majority of our food via domestic agroecological local food webs.

Kneecap's Mo Chara is the latest example of how terrorism arrests no longer bear any relationship whatsoever to any actual threat to the British public (and certainly not the audience at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town). Instead they've become the end product of contrived rightwing outrage
