It seems that CNN, NBC, ABC, etc are all failing to live up to the moment. Based on what I've seen The Guardian is a great alternative.

Both pointing a laser at an aircraft and shooting at an aircraft are felony offenses under federal law. Not to mention they are both stupid and dangerous. You are not helping anyone by doing so.

The drone stuff is overhyped. Whoever is doing it probably just wants attention. We should stop providing it.
