Special shoutout to Jem again. Led the team really well throughout. Today was tough but if anything managed to almost get out something from a situation where all was lost. We will be surely back stronger and better under her captaincy next time!! #WPL 🏏

Today is a mixed day - I’m a sobbing mess after the Delhi loss , but they had a magnificent campaign, Jemi’s captaincy skills came through and they batted superbly today but RCB were amazing today and they played like champions all through and Smriti played one of her absolutely best knocks today .

Two of my favorites are in the WPL final and I’m going to feel elated for the team that wins and heartbroken for the team that loses .

Woke up from a weird dream where I was suddenly at Madurai , standing outside MR restaurant, waiting to get in and thulp their potato curry and in a very very weird way , I am able to taste that potato fry at the back of my throat . It has been 14 years since I’ve been to that place . What is this ?

Last week , this time , we decided to retrace our most epic first date in NYC , despite the pouring rain . It was the most romantic yet most stupid thing we ever did , because a week later both of us are sick and sniffling . But I did want to share some pics somewhere so here we go .

So , husband and I did a mini trip for our birthdays , walked a lot when it rained < because it was romantic> and got promptly sick < not romantic > and are still recovering so to speak .

Today , I turned 39 , the same age my mum was when I turned 18 . When I was 18 , I thought that my mum and by extension, most 39 year olds were done living life and were just floating alone , but today more than any day I realize how mistaken I was
