Re-watched #JackassNumberTwo - a great film! SOME of the pranks looked like fun to do, and so did SOME of the stunts (usually of people falling down and getting physically hurt). However, I have a low tolerance for pain - so I can safely say I would attempt NOTHING in this movie. Ⓐ

Re-watched #JackassTheMovie. As far as comedy goes, it’s a great “movie”. Back in the day, my Dad thought the part where the dude walks into a hardware store and takes a dump in one of the display toilets - was BRILLIANT. I agree! I also LOVED the fake old people, ALL the footage from Japan, etc. Ⓐ

I consider the GREAT film #TheyLive to be a strong rebuke against the #Neoliberalism of 1980s America. The main hero even has a naive faith and optimism in the USA as “the land of opportunity - for EVERY American”. But he loses that faith, once he learns how (capitalist) “society” REALLY works. Ⓐ

The #EnglishDub of the anime #GhostStories got away with shit I doubt it could today - to have child characters saying wildly inappropriate shit. I assume I’ll never hear the #JapaneseAudio (which I assume is for children). The hilarious/obscene English Dub is clearly ONLY for ADULTS. Ⓐ

Re-watched #ScottPilgrimVsTheWorld - the movie. I’ve never read the graphic novels, but this romcom is entertaining from start to finish - and refreshingly unconventional. The soundtrack is also FUCKING AWESOME. A great film! #SexBobOmb #WeAreSexBobOmb Ⓐ
