My kind colleagues organized this last week. Today I left the campus for the last time as an instructor. Tomorrow I kick off retirement by accompanying @drstrangejob.bsky.social to his first visit to the hip clinic. Hip hip hooray!

A typical European car is parked 92% of the time. It spends 1/5th of its driving time looking for parking. Its 5 seats only move 1.5 people. 86% of its fuel never reaches the wheels, and most of the energy that does, moves the car, not the people.

My favourite bit from the forum…thought for a moment Lewis could speak Cape Breton English, by’e.

40+ gathered for Draw the Line CBRM yesterday, joining over 20,000 people in 70 actions across Canada. In Wentworth Park, I noticed many of us old folk stood in back while the young choose to sit closer to the speakers-- seems fitting as they need to be the main audience to grow a movement.
