Had an amazing week. I think I’m getting somewhat close to actually enjoying networking. It’s hard not to at events like INTL International Assembly graphic design conference last week to be fair - and it helps that I won free tickets to the entire festival next year!

Looking forward to WWDC later. Apple’s like: “This year we’re calling it iOS 26!” Cool. Does it do anything though? Because last year you said my iPhone would be an AI genius. Right now it still autocorrects “ducking.”

Listen, I’m a graphic designer, AI is coming for my job - I’m not remotely in support of an AI fuelled workforce but the fuss being made about ScotRail using an AI voice for announcements is daft. That’s precisely the kind of work automations SHOULD be used for.

Just built an iOS Shortcut that auto updates the Bluesky avatar and banner with zero UI, fully silent, and totally customisable. It uses Scriptable and took a bit of swearing to get right but it’s now rock solid. Designers, devs, branding folks, you’ll love it. Happy to share if anyone’s interested!

Just built an iOS Shortcut that auto updates the Bluesky avatar and banner with zero UI, fully silent, and totally customisable.
