As out of towner facing the tube strike I tried out Santander bikes for the 1st time. Knee the bike would be limited and cumbersome but didn’t expect the brakes to be shot. But the real (bad) surprise was every parking space within a mile of my destination was full ! Would have been faster to walk.

People talk about the complexity of the NHS. A service meeting many and varied needs will be complicated. But complexity is not a consequence of organisational architecture so much as a function of clarity and trust. If we agree where we’re heading and trust is strong complexity can be overcome
